…money does pay for routine and major veterinary care, ID tags, microchips, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, mobility aids, nutritional supplements, etc. Your donation will go almost entirely toward meeting the health and safety needs of the senior Weims in our care. We are all volunteers and we keep our necessary overhead costs (phone, fax, website hosting, bookkeeping software) to a bare minimum.  No bells and whistles here, unless they are for dogs!

We do not receive any state or federal funds.  We rely solely on adoption fees, fundraisers and donations from wonderful people like you!

We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization and we are qualified to accept tax-deductible contributions, bequests, devices, transfers and gifts. Please consult your tax preparer regarding how this applies to you. You will receive a receipt (and our undying gratitude!) for any donation to Senior Moments Weimaraners.
